I was recently introduced to the blog Slow your Home. I've really enjoyed reading Brooke's postings. Here is the first one I read. I particularly like the part about more white space.

Her post on Say No for A Change was very enlightening as well. Her point is if you say yes to one thing you must say no to another. Hmmm, what a thought!

I've been really thinking about how to simplify my life so to have more time for the things I love - such as GOATS!

Goldie
Goldie has decided that the hay barn is her private nesting area. Everyday she finds her way into this area (I think she flies in under the eaves) to lay her blue egg. Her favorite spot is this bale of straw next to the cat food bowls. I have to pay attention in the evenings or she would spend the night in here by herself. This of course would not be safe (foxes, raccoons or skunks could all get to her). Not to mention that it would be rather cold sleeping alone in the straw.
